Synopsis
Mayil, a timid man who wants a love marriage, flees to Chennai to escape an arranged marriage. There, he meets Devayani, who has also run away from an abusive arranged marriage. They grow close, but Devayani plans to move to London. To stop her, Mayil lies that she is pregnant with his child. The lie is exposed, but Devayani later discovers Mayil truly loved her. She confesses her love, revealing she loved him too, and they reunite.
